The Asian Experience

Asian dining is quite different from the Western dining experience. Many food and beverage franchises fail in Asian countries because of cultural, religious, and food differences even within close geographical areas. For instance, some countries and areas in Asia will not eat beef, some will not eat pork, some do not allow alcohol at all, and some areas are totally vegetarian. Making a successful menu in an Asian country requires depth and understanding of the regional differences and love for food!

With over 25 years of experience, Eclipse knows very well the variations in Asian countries, large and small. All local elements of an F&B concept in Asia must be closely and specifically considered. The menus, prices, taste, style, colors, and even religious elements in each restaurant location need to be carefully considered and modified to be successful.

Let us help you successfully navigate your restaurant concept in Asia.

International Growth & Franchising

Is your brand and concept already great and successful in the U.S. and you want to expand overseas? The most progressive and expanding direction for overseas restaurant growth is Asia. Eclipse has opened many different types and styles of restaurants all over Asia. For more than 25 years, we have designed and developed many new concepts, as well as modified and improved multi-unit concepts all over Asia; including China, Malaysia, Singapore, Macau (Asian Casino Capital), and Hong Kong.

We also connect American food and beverage brands and concepts to Asian investors to promote and develop franchise agreements. Partnering with a financial group and an F&B operator in Asia instead of franchising is another great option.

We can work with you to ensure the success of your expansion.

The Feasibility Study

Opening a new restaurant requires detailed information and understanding regarding location, rent, availability and cost of goods, staffing, licensing, and concept development to be successful.

Eclipse has developed a Feasibility Study model for each concept and/or location to determine the risk and ROI. We continually update our Feasibility Study model to improve our process. We understand that there are many pros & cons of opening any new restaurant. Although the Feasibility Study is more about the math than the overall concept, we feel that “numbers don’t lie” and are needed to ensure great success for any concept.
